Review By: prlmnt - State: Indiana

Vendor:

Introduction

Part of a group order with multiple states.

Communication: 10/10

OIS confirmed my payment in around 8 hours, and responded to a question I had within 12 hours: no issues here.

Cost: 10/10

$60 base and even cheaper with group discounts make it a really solid choice for a budget id.

Shipping: 9/10

Shipping overseas is never perfect, and while the shipping system didn't update my tracking as fast as I would have liked, there's nothing OIS can do about it - it shipped 4-5 days after I placed my order, and arrived in just under 2.5 weeks. The tracking number was automatically provided to me which is a great thing that every vendor should be doing.

signature: 9/10

Good size and thickness, definitely not a problem here.

All the details seem to be in the right place. A few things: it's missing the Real ID star, which may or may not be intentional, but given the 2018 issue date, it could be a problem. There's a gap between the photo area and the pink section. The background state outline/seal could be improved: they both need to have more of a drop shadow.

photoshop: 8/10

IN ids have pretty zoomed-in pictures, and this id does a good job of making the picture large in the frame. It appears slightly too high-quality, however: more could be done to make it look like a DMV photo.

holograms/OVI: 10/10

Definitely the best part of the id. The "digitized security overlay" is replicated almost perfectly here. The "Indiana" and state bird OVI are present and in the right place. Overall, the security features are extremely similar to the real.

uv: 10/10

Don't have UV light to test with

scanning: 9/10

Scans perfectly on multiple apps with all correct information

conclusion: 8/10

Decent to good budget id. Not for instate use. Will be fine at most places, but don't expect to use at super-strict bars.
