Old IL ID from Mr and Mrs Forge no longer usable, not 21 for another year so decided by price and shipping to get Ohio from Evolved over IDViking who friend has it from, who I will be comparing to in my review. I was denied at a bar she had used hers previously at but I was served at a different one (bartender looked suspicious but didn’t seem to care). These are the only places I have attempted to use it at.
Responded to my question within 12 hours via Helpdesk. Fast and effective.
Got $20 group discount for one other ID which a lot of vendors don’t give which was nice. With shipping and extra $10 for duplicate paid about $85 total for mine.
Evolved’s most attractive feature. Ordered mine on 10/8 and received it 10/15, a week. Was very pleased with this, didn’t have to pay for express.
Not too thick, looks similar to my real ID just slightly thicker I guess but nothing obvious.
This is where I doubt this ID being classified in state passible. Showed it to my classmate who’s from Ohio and instantly he commented on how bright the colors were, something I noticed when comparing to my friends. Also sticker on back with class/barcode is obvious to the eye and touch. ID feels a lot thicker than my friends (pic below). Other than these concerns the font and lines look even and consistent.
I have seen some bad photoshop jobs, my friends ID photo looks a little off like weird shadow behind the head and my old ID picture was very dark. Evolved did a very good job on mine, even somehow including my frizzy flyaway hairs in the picture which was a worry of mine. Picture looks great and realistic
My ID has Ohio - 1803 on top and my friends doesn’t. Crisp and vibrant, a little too bright in some lighting but otherwise great
Don’t have UV light so just giving 10
All info comes up correct in BCS app
With my concerns noted in the template section I dont think this ID would pass in state or at very strict bars/venues. Someone from Ohio immediately noticing the colors was a big concern to me as most people can’t notice the small details that bouncers would. I’m going to use it at WMU next weekend at places my friend has used hers at so hopefully I’ll be back with updates.
