Introduction

This LostIdentification ID was purchased by IncognitoReviews for personal use. LostIdentification was only informed of my intent to review this ID until after it was shipped. I purchased two IDs, one for myself and one for a friend, at this time. Communication: 6/10

LostIdentification's customer service has the longest reply time of most vendors I have worked with- advertising a 3 day time response time, which was usually turned into 5 or so days. Lost himself also takes a few days to reply, and the responses usually do not do much to give an answer. Lost Identification Customer service was unable to provide me with package tracking until ten or so days after it was delivered.

Cost: 9/10

$80 for a single Wisconsin ID is a very good price. Lost Identificiation also frequently runs deals on ID cards.

Shipping: 6/10

At the time of ordering, Lost Identification advertised a 2-week delivery time. My ID came about a month after ordering- customer service refused to provide a tracking number until long after my ID was delivered because "their mail tracking system was down"

signature: 5/10

Digital copies of my signature was uploaded. While the signature was thin, Lost did no effort to make it look realistic. It is far too small, too skinny, and most importantly, DOES NOT INTERSECT IMPORTANT MICROTEXT ON THE ID. This is another WI security feature that was ignored on this ID. Two seperate LOST IDs for different people I have seen also had this issue.

Pictures:

template: 7/10

The front is fantastic- it is nearly identically color matched. Details are mostly there, even though the microprint is a bit fuzzy, and the center of the WI flag has lost most detail. Not having the real-ID star is unfortunate. The back of this ID is where the ID falls apart. It is missing a main security feature DOB on the back of the ID, and the barcode is far too skinny. This is a fatal flaw of the ID. The back image and color is also a weakpoint of the ID.

photoshop: 8/10

Photoshop was done very well- color shifts were done properly. However, too much of the shoulders were cut off of the photo sent in. Wisconsin DMVs appear to show way more shoulder than the Lost Identification ID does. The Window print of this ID is fantastic, and looks true to life. It is a very sharp print with lots of details.

holograms/OVI: 9/10

There is no OVI or holos on the WI ID- however, there are a few places of raised text and details. The raised text feels identical to real WI IDs, and the shell pattern on the back-donor area of the ID is really intricate and well-done. However- it is not raised nearly enough. The real ID has a more gritty feel. Many people were unable to pick up on this, so I only knocked this down one point.

uv: 10/10

The UV on this ID is incredibly well done. Sharp, accurate, crisp. Id say the microtext on the UV is done even better than the non-UV layer. However, the back insignia is just as sloppy as the normal print. However- I would still consider this a flawless UV layer.

scanning: 5/10

This ID scans perfectly. Only thing I would say is a problem is that the +4 on the ZIP was left as 0000. Most places won't care but a sharp eye would show that this is very, very suspicious.

conclusion: 7/10

Overall, this is a great ID... however, this is no where near as good as Lost would like you to think, and I would doubt would fly in colleges surrounding WI, especially in NM and IL. If you are far from Wisconsin, this ID is great, however, I would not consider this currently fit for use in the Midwest. However, a few simple tweaks would easily allow this to be used.
